Valerie McLean is a trained nurse who for the past 12 years has worked on reminiscence and community arts projects with elderly people. Her two books "Only Old Once introducing creativity into elderly care" and "Time to Remember - introducing reminscence into elderly care" were written in order to provide ideas for age appropriate activities for anyone working in care homes and centres.

Both books are in a user friendly A4, 112 page format. They are wire bound so that they lay flat when open, and so facilitate photocopying the copyright free pages.
